International High School/Secondary School Students

We WELCOME International High School/Secondary School Students! 

You CAN take UCR college courses this Summer!

If you are an international student currently attending secondary/high school in your country and will be returning to your secondary/high school after summer of 2008, you can take UC Riverside courses during summer as a Summer Academy student. Accepted students can take first and /or second 2008 Summer Sessions courses.  To be eligible to enroll in the Summer Academy, you must:

 

  • Have very strong English language skills
  • A TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper) or 79 (IBT) OR attending a school in which English is the language of instruction
  • Translated cop of a transcript of secondary grades. 
  • Endorsement letter form a teacher or counselor attesting to your academic abilities. 
  • If you qualify, you need to fill out the Summer Academy application form AND the   Internationl Education Programs application form.

Reminder:   Summer Session VII is not available for international students. 

Note:  If you are a graduating senior, you can apply through the Summer Sessions to take UCR courses this summer.
